On November 17-18, 2023, the Student Development and Alumni Relations Office organized cultural preservation activities, including the annual Kathin Samakkhi Robe Offering Ceremony. The event was led by Dr. Dusitporn Hoktha, Deputy Director for Student Development. From November 1-15, faculty and staff were encouraged to contribute to the Kathin Robe Offering Fund, with the initiative spearheaded by Associate Professor Faphilai Thaveesinsopa, the College Director, along with other personnel and staff. Contributions were collected at the Office of the Director, to be presented during the Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony and the donation of monk’s robes, as part of a celebration aimed at preserving and promoting the important Buddhist tradition.
On November 17, led by Ms. Piyanuch Napa, Head of Student Development, along with staff, the team collaboratively prepared herbal drinks for the communal kitchen at Mai Fad Temple. These drinks were distributed to Buddhists participating in the Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony on November 18 at Mai Fad Temple, Sikao District, Trang Province.
