Enhancing halal food entrepreneurship in tourism industry: A successful workshop
College of hospitality and tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus held a workshop on halal food entrepreneur in tourism and hospitality industry during 18-19 July 2024 as part of “From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Marine Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand-Andaman through Learning Ecosystem Development, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation”
Asst.Prof. Faphilai Thaweesinsopa, director of college of hospitality and tourism assigned Miss Kanlayanee Yuthakarn and Dr. Chamaporn Meechana to be responsible for project organizers. As a specialist in halal food, Khun Yanee Tungdum was invited to share her knowledge and experiences to training participates. This activity was organized to promote and enhance standards of halal food service in the tourism and hospitality industry.
The opening ceremony was honored by Khun Suthon Khoinung, the director of Khuankun Municipal Elderly School along with Khun Thaka Siriwan, vice president of Krabi Tourism Association, and Khun Sawat Auntang, the mayor of Kuankun municipality to honor and encourage training participants.
This training is important to gain knowledge and up skills of halal food entrepreneur in tourism and hospitality industry in order to meet market demands and enhance service to international standards.
