On July 23 2024, Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, director of College of Hospitality and Tourism, RUTS Trang assigned Miss Amornrat Sutthithamanon and Miss Siripoonyakorn Charoenwiriyapap to supervise students Mr. Chokchai Koaykit and Mr. Ahmad Trongmatang, who are studying in hospitality and tourism program for participating in the flair bartending competition at Pathio Fishing Games 2024 held at Ao Son, Pathio District, Chumphon Province.
At the event, the students created a drink recipe under the concept of “Pathio Refreshing Drinks” and presented a drink named “The Ancient of Pathio.” The main ingredient was Khao Leuang Pathio, an ancient local rice from Pathio. This drink reflected the unique flair and beauty of the golden-yellow Thai costume, honoring and symbolizing the golden-yellow rice fields of Pathio excellently. The outstanding presentation and the unique recipe earned them the award for Best Presentation at the competition.
