Asst. prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopha, director of college of hospitality and tourism, lecturers, and staff participated in a green hotel management project at Amari Phuket Hotel. This event was conducted as a hands-on workshop focusing on constructing knowledge and understanding of environmentally friendly hotel management. This is a crucial aspect for developing marine tourism standards in Gulf of Thailand and Andaman coast.
The aim of the workshop was to gain international recognition through knowledge sharing and experience exchange with the Green Team from Amari Phuket Hotel, who have successfully implemented the Green Hotel concept for sustainable operations. The project not only enhances the skills of CHT personnel but also provides an opportunity for them to exchange ideas on developing hotel standards.
