On August 21, 2024, the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, led by Assist. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, the College Director along with Faculty members and related staff, organized a study visit at Deevana Plaza Krabi Aonang, Mueang District, Krabi Province. also participated in this event. This activity aimed to enhance hotel management standards in alignment with environmental standards (Green Hotel) and promote high-quality and environmentally friendly tourism in the Gulf of Thailand-Andaman region.
On this occasion, Assist. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa emphasized the importance of personnel developing in the hospitality and tourism industry to adapt to the trends of sustainable and eco-friendly tourism, which is a key strategy for competing in the global tourism market.
The visit included a workshop on “Green Hotel Management”, providing guidelines for improving hotel operations to meet environmental standards, reduce environmental impact, and promote quality tourism market. This study visit is part of the professional development for the College of Hospitality and Tourism staff, enabling them to apply the acquired knowledge in their work and contribute to Thailand’s tourism industry at an international level.
