On September 4, 2024, the College of Hospitality and Tourism at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Trang Campus, organized the “English Edutainment Camp,” an English camp filled with creative and fun activities aimed at developing students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The camp provided opportunities for students to practice English communication in real-life and simulated situations, boosting their confidence in using English in everyday life.
The opening ceremony was honored by Assist. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, the director of the college delivered remarks, along with Aj. Piyanart Akkhakraisi, Chairperson of Bachelor of Arts Program in English for International Communication, Asst. Prof. Supaphon Charoensuk, Dr. Kuliga Tanasavate, and Aj. Pityada Jeokwon organized the Edutainment activities throughout the camp.
A group of 59 teachers and students from Thungyaopadungit School, Palian District, Trang Province, participated in the camp. The activities focused on team-building skills, planning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, all through the use of English for tourism and hospitality. The participants learned and developed these skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
