On September 11, 2024, the College of Hospitality and Tourism, led by Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), organized a training workshop on water ecosystem development and wastewater management. This event is part of the project ‘Developing High-Quality Marine Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea through Learning Ecosystems, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation,’ under the supervision of the main project manager, Dr. Jutuporn Hokta, Deputy Director of Administration and Planning.
The workshop was honored by expert speakers, including Asst. Prof. Aneak Sawain, Dr. Peerapol Kaoien, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khwanta Tantikamton. The training covered the significance of water ecosystems, biodiversity, and environmentally friendly wastewater management practices. The workshop was held from September 11-12, 2024, at the College of Hospitality and Tourism.
Additionally, the activities included practical training in water quality analysis and household wastewater management system design, which are key measures for sustainable environmental conservation. The workshop was attended by about 50 participants, including students from the Business Innovation Management major and staff members.
