On Friday, October 11, 2023, the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT) at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Trang Campus, organized a study trip for third- and fourth-year accounting students. Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT, assigned Asst. Prof. Kannika Buatongrueng and Dr. Chamaporn Meechana, accounting program lecturers, to lead the students on a visit to Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi.
During this tour, students learned about hotel operations, accounting systems, and the relationship between the hotel and the local community. The hotel’s accounting department provided in-depth knowledge and organized engaging activities to enhance students’ practical skills and future expertise.
On this occasion, the College of Hotel Management and Tourism expressed its gratitude to the management team and the speakers from Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi for their warm welcome and support during the study tour. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi in recognition of their generosity in providing students the opportunity to learn through practical experience. This support plays a vital role in helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry, which will be invaluable for their future careers.
