On October 16, 2024, College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya held the second meeting with executives and representatives from Trang's tourism network partners at Parima Hotel to prepare for the upcoming “Trang 360°: Challenge Every Discovery” event. The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Apirak Songrak, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya along with Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of College of Hospitality and Tourism.
The event will be held on October 30, 2024 at Thumrin Thana Hotel, Trang. In the event, participants will discuss and exchange idea for the advancement of Trang’s tourism sectors. In the morning session, there will be a seminar on “Trang: The Emerald of the Andaman” from local tourism leaders and a special talk by Professor Dr. Therdchai Choibamroong to boost awareness and enthusiasm for tourism personnel in Trang.
In the afternoon, the discussions will be divided into four groups including community-based tourism development, tourism marketing (mountain, forest, rice field, sea, and city), creative
event planning, and unlocking Trang’s tourism potential. This project will help Trang tourism sectors to identify their strategic pathways to enhance tourism potential and establish it as a
sustainable Emerald of the Andaman in the future.
