A Special Flight: Trang Towards Sustainable Tourism”The Director of CHT Joined Efforts to Promote Trang’s Tourism

On December 5, 2024, at Trang Airport, Assistant Professor Fapilai Thaveesinsopa, Director of College of Hospitality and Tourism along with officials from the public and private sectors of Trang’s tourism industry participated in a special activity called “Special Tourist Flight.” 

The event was organized by Koh Libong Office and Trang Province’s partners, the event aimed to highlight the charm of Trang and Thailand’s tourism. The Governor of Trang Province, Mr. Songklod Sawangwong, presided over the event and attended a presentation by Mr. Nuttanun Potimetanon on the overall concept and strategies for promoting conservation-oriented tourism in the area. Media from Channels 7 and 9 covered the event closely, capturing and reporting the vibrant atmosphere.

Highlights of the Activity:

  1. Scenic Flight Over Trang:
    Participants experienced the breathtaking beauty of Trang seas, islands, and well-known attractions such as Koh Libong, Emerald Cave, and Pak Meng Beach from a unique perspective.
  2. Enhancing Tourism Image:
    This activity was part of a creative and sustainable tourism promotion plan designed to attract more visitors and stimulate the local economy. It offered a significant step towards elevating Trang’s tourism industry while offering an exhilarating experience for both domestic and international tourists.
