College of Hospitality and Tourismin collaboration with Trang Skill Development Office has organized CBT Creators Coaching Camp 2024


In collaboration with the Trang Skill Development Office, the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus organized the community tour leader and creative tourism leadership training program to equip new-generation entrepreneurs with high potential in marine tourism. The activity was part of the project “From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Gulf of Thailand-Andaman Marine Tourism through Learning Ecosystem Development and Modern Management with Technology and Innovation.” The activity was led by Ms. Naiyana Kumgunsilp, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hospitality, and Assistant Professor Thammachak Lekbanjong, a lecturer in the program from January 13 to 17, 2025 at the training room of the Trang Skill Development Office.

The distinguished guest speakers were national award-winning experts in tourism and community-based tourism (CBT) including Mr. Banjong Narupromethi and Mr. Lertchai Matmek and lecturers from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya including Dr. Jutima Boonmee, Dr. Suyaporn Sortrakul, Associate Professor Dr. Thanin Sangkhaduang, and Assistant Professor Thammachak Lekbanjong.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Surin Rodpibat, who was assigned by Ms. Yaowalak Songnam, Acting Director of the Trang Skill Development Office, to represent her at the event. This initiative reflects the commitment of the College of Hospitality and Tourism to enhancing upskilling and reskilling, developing skilled and competent community tourism leaders, and promoting creative tourism for the sustainable future of local communities.
