Professional Barista Standards WorkshopCollege of Hospitality and Tourism Collaborated with Trang Skill Development Office


The College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, in collaboration with the Trang Skill Development Office, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Professional Barista Standards.” from January 20 to 24, 2025 at the training room of Trang Skill Development Office. This event was led by Assistant Professor Supaphon Charoensuk and Dr. Kuliga Tanasavate, lecturers from English for International Communication program, who served as the project coordinators. 

The opening ceremony was honored by Ms. Yaowalak Songnam, Director of the Trang Skill Development Office, and Assistant Professor Fapilai Thaveesinsopa. The objectives of the workshop were to enhance participants’ skills, knowledge, and professional attitudes toward a career as a barista. Key highlights of the training included learning various coffee brewing techniques, practicing the art of creating latte art designs, and gaining insights into marketing strategies for the coffee business.

This event was also supported by industry experts, including speakers from Boncafe Academy Thailand, OBCS: Optimum Balance Coffee Stores, Trang province, and Assistant Professor Thammachak Lekbanjong, a lecturer from the tourism and hospitality program. The hands-on workshop aimed not only to enhance the participants’ potential to become professional baristas but also to inspire them to pursue a stable and successful career in the future.
