From January 16-17, 2025, College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Trang Campus organized the project ‘From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Marine Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman through Learning Ecosystem Development, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation.’ The workshop was held at Botany Café, Mueang District, Krabi Province.
The workshop focused on workforce development in tourism workforce capabilities and fostering human capital to empower a new generation of high-potential tourism entrepreneurs. Distinguished guest speakers included: Mr. Sanphet Srisawat, Chairman of the Tourism Council of Krabi Mr. Tuck Siriwan, Vice President of the Krabi Provincial Tourism Industry Council

This training also included an operational course in the Co-Tourism Service Providers program, which aims to foster collaboration and elevate service standards among tourism industry operators. This project is led by Ms. Amornrat Sutthithamanon, Dr.Chamaporn Meechana, and Ms. Siripoonyakorn Jaroenwiriyapab, with a strong emphasis on inspiring and preparing entrepreneurs to face challenges, turn crises into opportunities, and drive sustainable growth in Thailand’s tourism industry.
