On January 22–24, 2025, students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Trang Campus, participated in the 12th “9 RMUT Academic Skills Competition and Seminar” held at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Wasukri Campus. The event was organized under the theme “R-Innovator: Creating Innovators through Innovation,” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the institution’s transition into Rajamangala University of Technology.
Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, assigned Assistant Professor Supitchaya Boonkua, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs and Research, to lead a team of faculty members and students. The supervising lecturers included Dr. Siriwan Kingrat, Assistant Professor Nutchanat Tupkrut, Dr. Chayanun Khaoplod, and Mr. Hussachaipakorn Panma. The competition featured over 12 academic skill competitions and seminars, with participation from 21 institutions, aiming to enhance business administration knowledge and strengthen relationships among faculty members and students from all nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology across the country.
Students from RMUTSV Trang Campus, representing the College of Hospitality and Tourism from the Accounting and Business Management and Development programs, participated in four competitions and showcased one lecturer-student collaborative project. These activities included Innovative Entrepreneurship, Creative Media Innovators, R-Innovation: Creative Innovation for Sustainable Tourism, Digital Marketing Innovators, and the 9 RMUTs Accounting Skills Competition for the Cup from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

- First Runner-up in Innovative Entrepreneurship – Mr. Natthakom Phonnak (Bachelor of Accounting student), supervised by Asst. Prof. Nutchanat Tupkrut.
- Second Runner-up in Innovative Entrepreneurship – Ms. Piyanuch Chuengyang (Business Innovation Management student), supervised by Asst. Prof. Nutchanat Tupkrut.
- Second Runner-up in Creative Media Innovators – Mr. Chaowanon Wongchan (Bachelor of Accounting student), supervised by Dr. Chayanun Khaoplod.
