The College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Trang Campus, in collaboration with the Trang Office of Skill Development, is organizing a workshop on ‘Online Marketing for Tourism Industry Businesses’ from February 25–28, 2025. The workshop was held at Thanarom 4 Meeting Room, Thumrin Thana Hotel, Mueang District, Trang. The objective is to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs and professionals in the tourism industry by equipping them with effective digital marketing tools.
This activity aligns with the project ‘From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Through Ecosystem Learning, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation,’ supported by various stakeholders in the tourism sector.
The opening ceremony on February 25, 2025, was opened by Dr. Jatuporn Hoktha, Deputy Director for Administration and Planning at the College of Hospitality and Tourism, along with Ms. Yaowalak Songnam, Director of the Trang Office for Skill Development. The event also featured keynote speaker Mr. Tiwakorn Kumjun, Director of Success Idea Academy, and Dr. Chayanun Klawplod, a lecturer in the Business Innovation Program, CHT.
Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, assigned Dr. Chayanun Klawplod and Assistant Professor Rarin Kruaworapan, faculty members of the college, to organize the four-day program. Participants gained insights into key online marketing techniques, including digital marketing strategy design and planning.
This activity aims to support tourism industry entrepreneurs and professionals in adapting to market changes, expanding their businesses through digital marketing strategies, and transitioning into a new era of sustainable tourism.
