Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus – College of Hospitality and Tourism, organizes a practical training course on product design and branding development to win customers’ hearts and meet the needs of new-generation tourism entrepreneurs

Under the project “From Crisis to Adaptation: High-Quality Marine Tourism Development in the Gulf of Thailand–Andaman through Learning Ecosystem Development, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation,” the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, held a short-term practical training workshop titled “Product Design and Branding Development to Win Customers’ Hearts” during May 20–21, 2025.

The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopha,Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, presided over the opening ceremony. The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of brand design, product identity creation, and brand communication in the digital age. It also encouraged creativity in product and service development to make them stand out, reach target audiences effectively, and compete efficiently in the market. The program was directed by Dr. Siriwan KingratandAsst. Prof. Nuchanat Thabkrut.

On the first day, the participants had the honor of learning from Khun Tiwakorn Kumjun, a branding and marketing expert. He shared insights on brand identity creation, brand design, digital communication, and the use of marketing tools to effectively reach target audiences.

On the second day, the participants visited the Science Park at Prince of Songkla University, where they were welcomed by Khun Yinglak Srinualkhao, Manager of the Innovation Design Center, and Acting Sub-Lt. Detchawin Kaewsriwongsakorn, Public Relations and Corporate Communication Officer. The speakers provided lectures on innovative services and entrepreneur support, and the participants toured key innovation spaces and labs that play a significant role in creative product and brand development.

This activity represents an important step in empowering new-generation tourism entrepreneurs to adapt to change and grow sustainably in the creative economy era.
