On the evening of August 4, 2025, at the Central Stadium of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Songkhla, Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), along with faculty members, athletes, and team managers, proudly joined the parade in the grand and proud opening ceremony of the 16th Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Games, known as the “Dok Pip Games.”
The opening ceremony was honored by Prof. Dr. Suwat Tanyaros, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, alongside the university executives, faculty, and staff from all faculties, who gathered to witness the readiness of athletes from all campuses. Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Omanee, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Chairman of the Games Organizing Committee, delivered the report and stated the objectives of the event.
The atmosphere was vibrant and warm, with the creatively decorated athlete parades, reflecting the unity and unique identity. The competition not only serves as a platform to demonstrate athletic abilities but also as an opportunity to develop teamwork skills and foster positive relationships between students and faculty members within the university community.
The 16th “Dok Pip Games” is organized under the theme “Spirit of Respect and Friendship”, emphasizing mutual understanding, respect, and sportsmanship – the core values of university-level sports. The College of Hospitality and Tourism proudly extends its best wishes and encouragement to all athletes in this competition
