The camp aimed to promote and enhance English language skills for primary school students (Grades 1–4) through fun, engaging, and interactive learning activities.
The opening ceremony was opened by Ms. Piyanart Akkhakraisi, Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in English for International Communication Program, on behalf of the Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism. Asst. Prof. Supaporn Charoensuk also delivered a report on the objectives of the project.
A total of 167 students from Darunothai School, Trang, participated in the event to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through various engaging activities such as Sea Life Origami, Little Fishies (Counting), Sea Treasure Bingo, Baby Shark (Family Members), and Aquarium Tour (Underwater Animals). These activities aimed to foster students’ English communication practice in both simulated and real-life situations while also enhancing their teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The event was a great success through the collaboration of lecturers from the English for International Communication Program and Tourism and Hospitality Program, who served as facilitators and instructors. Together, they provided students with creative learning experiences that built confidence in using English in daily life and promoted sustainable learning for the future.
