On November 13, 2025, a formal ceremony was convened at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya for the signing of an Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, and the COSI Pattaya Wong Amat Beach Hotel. This collaborative initiative is specifically designed to bridge theoretical academic instruction with practical, real-world industry applications.
The delegation from the College of Hospitality and Tourism, RUTS, Trang Campus, was led by Assistant Professor Fhapilai Taweesinsohpa, Director of the College, accompanied by members of the executive board, distinguished faculty, and administrative staff.
The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Natthapong Poolsuk, Head of Brand for COSI Hotels and General Manager of COSI Pattaya Wong Amat Beach Hotel, who signed on behalf of the establishment. Also signing were Assistant Professor Fhapilai Taweesinsohpa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, and Assistant Professor Sukpitchaya Boonkuer, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Research. Mr. Apichart Manart, Head of Human Resources for COSI Hotels Group, served as a witness to the ceremony.
The objective of this cooperation is to promote the development of student potential so that their skills align with the demands of the service and tourism industry. It also aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the academic institution and the industry partner to raise the standards of curriculum management and professional experience training, ensuring quality and alignment with the changes in the international tourism industry.
This signing marks another significant step in the collaboration between the education and business sectors, working together to produce high-quality graduates ready to enter the hotel and tourism industry as professionals in the future.
