On December 3–4, 2025, at Nakorn Si Thammarat Rajabhat University (NSTRU), the Student Development and Alumni Relations Office of the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT, assigned Dr. Dusitporn Hokta, Deputy Director for Student Development, to lead 20 students and staff in participating in a student leadership exchange program with student leaders from various regional institutions.
The objectives of the program were to provide student leaders with opportunities to exchange experiences, ideas, and effective approaches to organizing beneficial student activities, as well as to encourage the application of knowledge to the future development of student activities within their institutions. In addition, it aimed to establish collaborative networks and positive relationships among educational institutions to ensure the comprehensive and sustainable development of student leadership potential.
Furthermore, the program encouraged students to build strong rapport with peers from other universities, which serves as a necessary foundation for developing educational networks and future collaboration. This is expected to benefit regional student activity development and enhance the quality of the College’s student activity management in response to ongoing modern changes.
Overall, the program represented a significant opportunity to strengthen students’ knowledge, experiences, and multiple skills, including leadership, communication, planning, and teamwork. These outcomes will contribute to the strengthening and improvement of the quality of student activities at the College.
