College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, Congratulated Students on National Achievements at the 13th RMUT Business Administration Academic Skills Competition

The College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus extends its sincere congratulations to its students for bringing honor and pride to the institution through their outstanding achievements at the 13th Academic Seminar and Business Administration Skills Competition among the Nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology (RMUTs), held in competition for the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The event took place from 28–30 January 2026 at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Chiang Mai Province.
On this occasion, the college’s executive administrators, faculty members, and student representatives actively participated in the program, which served as a significant platform for academic exchange, capacity building, and enhancement of business administration competencies among students from the nationwide RMUT network. Organized under the theme “Empowering Future: Smart Young Entrepreneurs,” the seminar emphasized the development of business management skills, innovative thinking, digital entrepreneurship, and the integration of theoretical knowledge into practical application.
Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, assigned Assistant Professor Sukpitchayan Boonkerd, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Research, as the institutional representative at the 1/2026 Meeting of Deans and Directors in Business Administration of the Nine RMUTs. In addition, faculty members and students participated in academic seminars, skills competitions, and diverse academic exhibitions.
Through their dedication and academic excellence, students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism earned several prestigious awards. In the Smart Entrepreneurs Business Plan Competition, Mr. Natthapong Nijaphai from the Bachelor of Accountancy Program received First Runner-Up, while Mr. Sirisit Juisongkaew from the Bachelor of Business Administration Program secured Second Runner-Up, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Nuchanat Thapkrut. In the Creative Business Media Innovation category, Ms. Warin La-ongmanee and Mr. Thawatchai Khamkhao received an Honorable Mention, guided by Mr. Hatsachaipakorn Panma. Further success was achieved in the Smart Accounting Challenge 2026, where Ms. Suratchada Nun-kliang earned Second Runner-Up, and Ms. Prawsinee Channoparat and Ms. Sutthirak Buakaew received Honorable Mentions, supervised by Dr. Siriwan Kingrat.
Beyond the competitions, students also showcased their creative academic work in the Creative Business Exhibition under the guidance of Assistant Professor Kannika Buathongruang and participated in the Professional Live Stream Shopping activity supervised by Assistant Professor Sukpitchayan Boonkerd. These activities provided valuable experiential learning opportunities, reinforcing students’ professional readiness and entrepreneurial skills.
These accomplishments represent another milestone of pride for the College of Hospitality and Tourism, RUTS, Trang Campus. They underscore the quality of teaching and learning management, the holistic development of student potential, and the institution’s commitment to producing practice-oriented graduates who are well prepared for professional engagement and sustainable competitiveness at the national level.
