Administration and Planning Division, Information Unit, College of Hospitality and Tourism Organizes Workshop on Innovative Teaching Design with Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Digital-Era Learning Capacity


The Administration and Planning Division, Information Unit, College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, organized a workshop entitled “Smart Learning with AI: Innovative Teaching Design Workshop” during 12–13 February 2026 at the Ya Thale Conference Room, College of Hospitality and Tourism. The initiative aimed to enhance the capacity of faculty members and educational personnel to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into instructional media design in ways that are innovative, efficient, and aligned with digital-era learning.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopha, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Jatuporn Hokta, Deputy Director for Administration and Planning; Assistant Professor Sukpichaya Boonkluea, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Research; and Dr. Dusitporn Hokta, Deputy Director for Student Development. Faculty members and staff of the College participated actively in the event.
The workshop featured Lecturer Theerach Duangchino from the Bachelor of Industrial Education Program, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Songkhla Campus, as the keynote speaker. He shared his expertise and practical experience in applying AI technologies to innovative instructional design.
The training focused on developing competencies in utilizing AI to create accessible, diverse, and learner-centered instructional media, guided by the principles of Accessibility and Inclusivity. Emphasis was also placed on fostering future-ready skills and implementing personalized learning approaches to enhance instructional quality in response to the evolving educational landscape of the 21st century.
This initiative represents a significant milestone for the College of Hospitality and Tourism in advancing technology-enhanced learning. It underscores the College’s commitment to empowering educational personnel with practical competencies and to delivering meaningful and sustainable learning experiences for students.
