On 4 February 2026, at the Associate Professor Pracheep Chupan Conference Room, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, the Student Council of the College of Hospitality and Tourism organized the Media & Me: Creating Media, Building Identity project under the CHT Creators activity. The initiative aimed to promote and develop students’ effective media production skills while encouraging active student participation in institutional publicity and strengthening the college’s positive public image.
Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, assigned Dr. Dusitporn Hokta, Deputy Director for Student Development, to preside over the opening ceremony. Faculty members and college staff also attended the event to offer encouragement and formally welcome the participants.
On this occasion, the College invited Mr. Anuttama Boonmee, Administrative Officer from the Image Communication and Special Activities Division, Thaksin University (Songkhla Campus), as the guest speaker. He delivered a lecture entitled “Creative Media: Professional Production in Practice,” sharing his expertise, professional experience, and practical techniques for creative media production, with an emphasis on real-world application.
The program also included hands-on workshops in media creation, enabling students to apply newly acquired knowledge in practical settings and further develop their skills by producing creative works for submission to a competition. These activities served to enhance experiential learning, expand professional experience, and provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their potential in media production.
The project attracted strong student participation, reflecting heightened awareness of the importance of communication and digital media competencies in the contemporary context. Such skills are increasingly essential and transferable across academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, and future professional careers.
