College of Hospitality and Tourism, RUTS Trang Campus Hosts the “Developing the Right Community Products Begins with Customer Empathy” Workshop to Endorse Tourism Entrepreneurs toward Digital Marketing and Innovation

On 19–20 February 2026, the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) Trang Campus, organized the “Developing the Right Community Products Begins with Customer Empathy” workshop as part of the “From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman through Ecosystem Learning, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation” project. The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs and community enterprises to become effective competitor in the new tourism context.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT delivered the opening remarks. The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Nutchanat Tupkrut, Head of the Management and Business Development Program, Dr. Siriwan Kingrat, and Ms. Kittima Hemjinda, who are CHT lecturers and workshop coordinators and organizers. The first day of the workshop was held on 19 February 2026 at the Seagrass Meeting Room, CHT, RUTS Trang Campus.
It was privileged to invite Mr. Tiwakorn Kamchoon as a guest speaker to shared his expertise on video design for sales, storytelling, content creation for closing sales, and usage of digital tools such as Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LINE VDO. The workshop also highlighted the application of AI technology in media design, target customer analysis by Al tools, and the systematic online marketing development to add product value and create market differentiation.
On 20 February 2026, the participants attended a field study visit to community enterprises in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The visit facilitated knowledge exchange on community enterprise innovation, food processing innovation presented by the head of Nananakhon Community Enterprise, followed by cosmetic production innovation shared by the head of Petchkiri Community Enterprise. Participants also observed production processes which provided inspiration and practical skills to develop them effectively.
This workshop training reflects the important role of CHT as a key driver in developing human capital in tourism and hospitality through the integration of modern management, technology, and innovation. CHT aims to strengthen communities to adapt from crisis toward sustainable growth and raise Gulf of Thailand and Andaman marine tourism to international quality standards.
