College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, Achieves Distinction at the 10th Rajamangala National Liberal Arts Academic Skills Competition

The Tourism and Hospitality Program, College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, led by Dr. Suyaporn Sortrakul, together with Ms. Amornrat Suthithamanan and supervising faculty members, participated in the 10th Rajamangala National Liberal Arts Academic Skills Competition 2026. The competition, held from 25–27 February 2026 at Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok, Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth Campus, Bangkok, was organized to compete for the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
This national event provided a platform for students from the Rajamangala University of Technology network nationwide to demonstrate academic excellence, professional competencies, and creative abilities, while promoting scholarly exchange and experiential learning. The students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism, RUTS, Trang Campus, delivered outstanding performances and earned several awards as follows:

  • Ms. Pawimon Charoensuk received a Bronze Medal in the Thai Luk Thung Singing Competition, under the supervision of Ms. Amornrat Suthithamanan.
  • Ms. Wilawan Buathong and Ms. Phattrawadee Kasornsuwan were awarded a Silver Medal in the Artistic Bed-Making Competition, supervised by Ms. Amornrat Suthithamanan.
  • Mr. Ahmad Trongmatang received a Bronze Medal in the Cocktail Mixing Competition, supervised by Ms. Amornrat Suthithamanan.
  • Ms. Chutimon Jitsakorn earned a Silver Medal in the Thai Tour Guide Skills Competition, under the supervision of Ms. Nayana Khamkansilp.
  • Ms. Suchanan Thongsuk and Ms. Keerthika Chuthong received a Bronze Medal in the Tourism Quiz Competition, supervised by Dr. Suyaporn Sortrakul.
    These achievements reflect the students’ capabilities and the College of Hospitality and Tourism’s sustained commitment to advancing academic and professional skill development. They further underscore the dedication of the administrators, faculty members, and staff in fostering student excellence and supporting their participation in national-level competitions with distinction.
