Pathway to Professional Success: Bachelor of Accountancy Program Organizes Seminar on “The Path to Success in the Accounting Profession” to Prepare Students for the Professional World


On 13 March 2026, the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, organized a seminar entitled “The Path to Success in the Accounting Profession.” The event was held at the Seagrass Meeting Room, College of Hospitality and Tourism. This activity was conducted as part of the course Accounting Seminar, which aims to provide students with opportunities to learn and exchange perspectives on the accounting profession from the standpoint of real-world practice.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopha, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of preparing students to pursue professional careers in accounting with strong competencies in knowledge, practical skills, and adaptability to the rapidly changing digital era. The event was also attended by Associate Professor Rarin Kruaworapan, Chair of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program and the course instructor responsible for the seminar.
The seminar was honored by the presence of Ms. Sawitree Khaowan, Director of Thanyasakarn Accounting Co., Ltd., who served as the guest speaker. She delivered a special lecture sharing her professional experiences in the accounting field and provided guidance on self-development strategies for becoming a professional accountant, as well as recommendations for preparing for future career opportunities.
In addition, first-year transfer students in the accounting program were given the opportunity to present seminar topics related to the accounting profession. These topics included supporting documents for accounting entries, preparation for the accounting profession in the digital era, updates on Thai accounting laws following the amendments in 2024 and 2026, and issues related to financial statements under the new regulations of the Department of Business Development (DBD). The activity helped enhance students’ analytical, presentation, and academic discussion skills.
The organization of this seminar served as an important platform for integrating classroom knowledge with practical professional insights. It broadened students’ professional perspectives and prepared them to confidently enter the workforce, while strengthening their potential to become competent accountants capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labor market in the future.
