The College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, organized the ‘From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Gulf of Thailand–Andaman Marine Tourism through Learning Ecosystems, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation.’ project through the Professional Bartender Workshop on March 10–11, 2026, at Lay Trang Restaurant 2, Trang. The activity aimed to increase participants’ beverage-mixing skills and service capabilities.
On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT assigned Asst. Prof. Dr. Tammachak Lakbanchong, Chair of the Tourism and Hospitality Program, represented and opened the ceremony. The activity was coordinated by Aj. Piyanart Akkhakraisi, Chair of the English for International Communication Program, and Aj. Hussachaipakorn Panma, lecturer in the Management and Business Development Program.
The workshop included both lectures and practical training led by expert speakers on various topics:
- Classic Cocktails & Mocktails by Mr. Thanapon Jindamanee and Mr. Theethat Phetsanan
- Closed-loop Cocktails & Mocktails by Mr. Pitipat Churatpreeyaporn and Mr. Thanapon Jindamanee
- Sustainable Bartending by Aj. Piyanart Akkhakraisi and Aj. Hussachaipakorn Panma
- AI-driven Personalization and Cross-cultural Flavours, and Sober Curious Drinks by Mr. Worawut Joowattanapong and Mr. Natchaphakwat Chantharaprathin
This workshop activity provided participants with experiences in both disciplines and the art of beverage mixing, from basic techniques to drink trends that focus on sustainability, technology, and the demands of consumers. Participants can apply the knowledge and skills to their careers or develop their businesses, such as beverage services, cafes, bars, or other related careers in the tourism and hospitality industry.
