On March 11, 2026, a lecturer and students of the Tourism and Hospitality Program, College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, held the “Beauty with Confidence: Makeup Workshop to Enhance Personality” workshop at Seagrass meeting room. The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ personality development and prepare them with appropriate makeup skills for careers in tourism and hospitality.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT, opened the ceremony and delivered an opening remark, offering advice on developing students’ potential in both personality and professionalism to prepare them for careers in the service industry, where image and confidence are highly valued.
The workshop was honored by of Mr. Danupol Sanjon, a professional makeup artist, as the guest speaker. The speaker shared skills and techniques in makeup application with demonstrations of proper and practical makeup methods suitable for work environments. Students were given the opportunity to practice and gain experience.
This activity was part of the Tourism Seminar subject and was organized under the supervision of Aj. Amornrat Sutthithammanon, a lecturer in the Tourism and Hospitality Program. The workshop was filled with students from the Tourism and Hospitality Program with their excellent interest and active learning in improving their skills in personality preparation for their future careers.
This workshop reflects an experiential learning approach that emphasizes practical experience alongside the development of personality and skills. It aims to foster students’ confidence and potential, and become quality professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry.
