The College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, has once again achieved national recognition by receiving an award at the 17th Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education Day (CWIE Day #17).

On April 1, 2026, the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, proudly announced that Mr. Jirawat Changnam, a second-year transfer student in the Tourism and Hospitality program, participated in the “17th Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education Day (CWIE Day #17)” held at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Mr. Jirawat Changnam was awarded fourth place (Honorable Mention) for his innovative project entitled “Recycled Tip Box from Aluminum Beverage Cans.” This project was collaboratively developed with the industry partner, Pimalai Resort and Spa, Krabi, under the close supervision of Ms. Wanwisa Ploy Insawang. The competition featured a total of 14 teams representing universities across Southern Thailand.
This achievement represents a significant milestone, reflecting the effectiveness and quality of the Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) approach. The program emphasizes the integration of academic learning with practical experience, aiming to equip students with professional competencies alongside creativity and innovation to effectively meet the evolving demands of the future workforce.
