On March 29, 2026, at Assoc. Prof. Pracheep Chuphan Conference Room, , Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT) organized an academic exhibition and seminar in accounting under the theme “Exploring New Horizons in Accounting toward Evolving Technologies and Standards to Empower the Next Generation of Accountants” The purpose of the event aimed to boost knowledge and develop students’ potential, preparing them to become professional accountants in the digital era.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the CHT, assigned Assistant Professor Sukpitchaya Boonkuer, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs and Research, to open the ceremony. She also supervised the project as a lecturer in the Bachelor of Accounting Program.
The event featured a special lecture on “Accountants Keeping Pace with Evolving Technologies and Standards,” an exhibition of accounting student projects, presentations of accounting research, showcases of student innovations, and works from participation in national-level competitions such as Startup Thailand League 2026. In addition, third-year students from the Bachelor of Accounting Program presented projects related to professional accounting issues, including bookkeeping, taxation, and auditing.
Furthermore, the event was honored by Acting Sub Lt. Apisorn Thanpitak, Head of Cost and Asset Accounting Department at Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa, Krabi, a graduate of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, who shared working experiences, as well as insights and approaches for professional self-development to inspire current students.
This event is designed to provide knowledge, experience, and new perspectives for participants that can be efficiently applied in their careers. It also served as an important stage for linking academic knowledge with practical application, while enriching accounting education standards to align with the paradigms.
