On February 27, 2025, Khuan Kun Municipality organized the “Project to Enhance the Value of Dok Jok Snack Production to Improve the Competitiveness of Community Enterprises.” The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sawat Anteng, Mayor of Khuan Kun Municipality, and Mr. Suthon Khoynueang, Director of the Khuan Kun Municipal Elderly School and President of the Elderly Club of Khuan Kun Municipality, who attended to encourage the project participants.
The event featured Ms. Yanee Tangkum, a culinary specialist, who shared techniques and strategies to develop Dok Jok snacks with unique characteristics that stand out in the market. Miss Amornrat Sutthithamanon and Dr. Chamaporn Meechana from the College of Hospitality and Tourism were responsible for the project.
This project aimed to promote career opportunities for the elderly in the community while improving production standards and enhancing the competitiveness of community enterprises. The goal is to establish Dok Jok snacks as a signature product that generates sustainable income for the local community.
