College of Hospitality and Tourism Mobilizes Support for Southern Flood Victims Through Donation of 300 Meal Boxes and 100 Packs of Drinking Water

On 26 November 2025, the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized a collaborative effort among faculty members, staff, and students to prepare and distribute 300 meal donation boxes and 100 packs of drinking water for individuals impacted by the severe flooding in southern Thailand.

The initiative was supported through financial contributions from multiple stakeholders, including faculty members, staff, students, and external benefactors. The activity was jointly coordinated by the Student Development and Alumni Relations Unit and the Student Association of the College of Hospitality and Tourism. Under the leadership of Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, faculty members, staff, and students collaborated in the preparation of the meal donations.

The 300 meal boxes and 100 packs of drinking water were subsequently delivered to the Yan Ta Khao Subdistrict Municipality Office and the Khok Yang Subdistrict Administrative Organization for distribution to residents impacted by the flooding in southern Thailand.
