CHT RUTS Trang Hosts Cattleya Games 2026 “THE FOUR REGIONS HARMONY”

On October 14, 2026, the Student Union of the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (Trang Campus), organized the internal sports competition “Cattleya Games 2026” at the Rajamangala Trang Gymnasium. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of the College of Hospitality and Tourism.

Held under the theme THE FOUR REGIONS HARMONY: “Four Regions, Four Lands, United as One,” the event aimed to promote health, foster unity, and strengthen relationships among executives, faculty members, staff, and students through sports activities that integrated fun with the unique cultural identities of Thailand’s four main regions.

Participants were divided into four color teams, each representing a unique regional charm:

  • Green Team – “Charm of the Chao Phraya River Basin”, led by Asst. Prof. Fapilai Taweesinsopa
  • Pink Team – “Spell of the Apsara City”, led by Dr. Jatuporn Hokta
  • Blue Team – “Andaman Blue”, led by Asst. Prof. Supitchaya Boonkua
  • Orange Team – “Phraya Akkani of Vieng Lanna”, led by Dr. Dusitporn Hokta

All teams competed enthusiastically with dedication, reflecting teamwork, unity, and readiness amidst a vibrant, joyful atmosphere filled with cheers throughout the event.

Chair ball served as one of the highlight sports, offering participants from all four teams an opportunity to demonstrate their athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Additionally, the event featured seven fun-filled recreational games, including Poor Man’s Golf, Sack Race, Express Delivery War, Rubber Band Jump, Centipede Balloon Pass, Mother Crab Orders Eggs, and the Obstacle Eating Relay. These games added lively color, laughter, and lasting memories of friendship to the occasion.

Beyond winning and losing, the competition highlighted the power of collaboration, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the appreciation of cultural diversity. This aligned seamlessly with the concept “Four Regions, Four Lands, United as One,” which sought to bring all participants together into a single cohesive community.

The “Cattleya Games 2026” stands as a vital milestone in promoting both physical and mental well-being, enhancing happiness and organizational bonds, and cultivating a culture of unity to collectively drive the College of Hospitality and Tourism toward creative and sustainable development.
