The College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, through the Department of Management and Business Development, organized the “Project to Enhance Students’ Academic Expertise through Collaboration with CP Group Companies and Strengthen Educational Networks with Communities.” The project was carried out under Sub-Activity 6: Workshop on Integrated Learning through Creative Ideas for Community Development, held on August 13, 2026, at the Ban Na Teen Community-Based Tourism Enterprise, Krabi Province.
The activity aimed to provide third-year students in the Management and Business Development program with opportunities to gain real-world experience beyond the classroom through field-based learning and knowledge exchange with the local community. Students were encouraged to apply their knowledge of management, business development, and creative thinking to the practical development and enhancement of the community’s potential.
On this occasion, Dr. Chayanun Klawplod, a lecturer in the program and project coordinator, together with Dr. Jatuporn Hokta, Deputy Director for Administration and Planning, and Ms. Kittima Hemchinda, a lecturer in the program, provided guidance and closely supported the students throughout the learning process.
The activity served as an important mechanism for connecting “classroom learning with hands-on practice.” It provided students with opportunities to develop analytical thinking, collaborate with community members, generate creative approaches to business development, and solve problems based on real-world situations. These experiences provide an important foundation for preparing students to become a new generation of business management professionals equipped with knowledge, practical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of community contexts.
