From 19–22 August 2026, the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, hosted the “Capacity Development for Nine Rajamangala Universities’ Administrators for Change and Drive Organizational Development under the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model” at the Panya Anusorn Conference Room, CHT, RUTS, Trang Campus.
The event aimed to strengthen the administrative and managerial capabilities of university administrators, while providing an opportunity for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and perspectives among administrators. It was supposed to jointly develop approaches to organizational management that allow universities to adapt to changing circumstances and advance their missions efficiently and sustainably, aligning with the BCG Economy Model.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Suwat Tanyaros, President of RUTS, delivered the opening remarks. Assistant Professor Sittichoke Janyong, Vice President for Trang Campus, welcomed the administrators and participants. In addition, Assistant Professor Chainan Panyavoodso, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, RUTS, and the Chair of the Meeting of Deans and Directors of Business Administration of the Nine Rajamangala Universities, participated in the program together with administrators from all nine Rajamangala Universities.
The event aimed to provide an opportunity for administrators from the nine Rajamangala Universities offering Business Administration programs to exchange experiences, perspectives, and approaches to organizational management, contributing to the development of a collaboration network and strengthening administrative capabilities in response to changes in social, economic, and environmental contexts. The knowledge and experiences gained from the program can also be applied in practice to drive organizational development concretely and sustainably.
The program included key activities such as a hybrid Meeting of Deans and Directors of Business Administration of the Nine Rajamangala Universities, as well as a workshop on “The Role of Administrators in Driving Organizations under the BCG Economy Model.” The workshop was led by Mr. Waranyoo Khongruang, Mr. Kriangkrai Nuying, and Acting Sub-Lieutenant Anusara Bensalae, facilitators to knowledge and practical approaches to applying the BCG concept to develop and manage organizations.
In addition, participants attended field trip activities to experience the potential of Trang Province’s tourism and business management, including a visit to the Trang Aquarium and Rajamangala Beach, Morakot Cave (Emerald Cave), Koh Waen and Koh Cheuak, and Na Muen Si Community. These activities provided opportunities to learn about approaches to management and value creation based on natural resources, cultural capital, and local wisdom, reflecting the practical application of the BCG Economy Model.
The event was an important step for strengthening collaboration among the nine Rajamangala Universities through the exchange of knowledge and experiences in organizational management. This collaboration contributes to developing organizational management, allowing universities to respond effectively to change and enhance their capacity to fulfill their missions. Meanwhile, the event promotes value creation for society, local communities, and the environment, supporting balanced and sustainable development.
The program was hosted by the CHT, RUTS Trang Campus, led by Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT. The College warmly welcomed administrators from all nine Rajamangala Universities and demonstrated the CHT’s potential and the uniqueness of Trang, particularly its tourism and hospitality resources, natural environment, cultural heritage, and local wisdom.
Through these learning activities, CHT has shown its role in learning, knowledge exchange, and collaborative networking. The event expresses the CHT’s commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of organizations, communities, and society by integrating local strengths and resources with the principles of the BCG Economy Model.
