Trang Campus — August 27, 2026: The Bachelor of Accountancy Program, College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, conducted an outreach activity at Phatthalung Technical College to provide knowledge and practical skills in accounting and digital technology, as well as guidance on pursuing undergraduate studies.
The activity was organized for second-year Higher Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate Level 2) students in Accounting. It aimed to strengthen their professional skills and prepare them for future careers in accounting.
The activity was conducted by lecturers from the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, including Assistant Professor Rarin Kruaworapan, Chair of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program; Assistant Professor Kannika Buatongrueng; Ms. Jiratchaya Bunchuay; and Dr. Chamaporn Meechana. They shared their professional knowledge and organized practical learning activities for second-year Higher Vocational Certificate students in Accounting at Phatthalung Technical College.
The training focused on developing practical accounting skills through hands-on learning on the topic “Year-End Closing with Microsoft Excel.” Students learned about the process of collecting and preparing accounting data, recording adjusting entries, preparing worksheets, and organizing information required for the accounting closing process. The activity also emphasized the application of digital technology in accounting practices to reflect the requirements of modern workplaces.
In addition, the lecturers provided undergraduate study guidance, introducing students to the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, approaches to learning accounting and digital technology, essential skills for future accountants, and potential career pathways. The guidance was designed to help students use this information to make informed decisions about further education and establish appropriate career goals.
This activity reflects the commitment of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program to promoting professional learning and practical experience, connecting classroom knowledge with real-world applications. It also aims to inspire vocational students and broaden their perspectives on higher education, empowering them to become “professional accountants in the digital era” who can effectively integrate knowledge, technology, and professional skills in the workplace.
