On September 17–19, 2026, lecturers from the Bachelor of Arts Program in Chinese for Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yala Rajabhat University, organized a teaching and learning development project and a field trip to Trang Province. A total of 34 students and lecturers participated in the program, which aimed to integrate classroom knowledge with the courses Chinese for Hotel and Tourism and English for Tourism.
On this occasion, the students and lecturers visited the College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, to learn about teaching and learning approaches, professional skills development, and applying language knowledge in the hospitality and tourism industries. The visit also provided an opportunity for students and lecturers to exchange academic and professional experiences.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Fapilai Taweesinsopa, Director of CHT, together with the college’s administrators, lecturers, and staff.
Assistant Professor Dr. Tammachak Lakbanchong, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hospitality, CHT, along with college members, also welcomed the visiting students and lecturers and organized a series of hands-on learning activities.
The activities focused on experiential learning, allowing students to observe and learn about working processes while developing an understanding of the roles and skills required for careers in the tourism and hospitality industries. The experience was an important part of preparing students for work.
The study visit of YRU aimed to provide students with opportunities to learn from situations and experiences while broadening their perspectives on how Chinese and English language skills can be applied in communication, customer service, and the presentation of tourism information. The activities also promoted necessary communication and workplace skills needed for their future careers.
The CHT, RUTS Trang Campus, is committed to serving as a learning and knowledge exchange for academic and professional development. Through collaboration with other educational institutions, the college looks forward to supporting students in developing the knowledge, skills, and professional readiness needed to enter the tourism and hospitality industries with confidence and professionalism.
