On October 2, 2026, at the Sikao Clock Tower Green Market in Trang Province, Assistant Professor Supitchaya Boonkua, Deputy Director for Academic and Research Affairs, together with Dr. Siriwan Kingrat, a faculty member of the Bachelor of Accountancy Program, led accounting students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (Trang Campus), in an activity designed to raise awareness of sustainable and environmental accounting. The initiative was integrated into the instruction of the Principles of Accounting course.
The activity aimed to encourage students to recognize the essential role of accounting in driving sustainable development and the importance of balancing economic activities with environmental considerations. It provided students with the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a real-world community context by learning from the Green Market, a vibrant local learning center focused on promoting community products and environmental consciousness.
This event was part of the integration of teaching and learning with arts and culture preservation, environmental conservation, and creative cultural development for the first semester of the 2026 academic year. It sought to equip students with academic knowledge, hands-on learning skills, and a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility—foundational elements in developing well-rounded graduates prepared for sustainable careers and lifestyles.
