On August 19, 2026, at the Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort in Krabi Province, lecturers from the Tourism and Hospitality Program, College of Hospitality and Tourism (CHT), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) Trang Campus, visited and observed service standards under the “Professional Tourism Skills and Students’ Capacity Development” project. The hotel visit aimed to provide students with the opportunity to learn from an operating business while strengthening skills and experience with professional industry standards.
The visit was led by Ajarn Wanwisa Ploy Insawang and Ajarn Suthira Pankaew. The activity focused on experiential learning. Students learned hotel business operations, service delivery systems, and service standards of an international hospitality business.
This field trip experience supported the concept of learning and practicing through experience. It allowed students to connect classroom knowledge with industry practices and apply the obtained skills and experience to their studies and careers in the future.
This activity reflects the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality program’s core mission, which aims to launch graduates with both academic knowledge and practical skills and prepare them to become high quality, standardized, and professional workforce in the tourism and hospitality industry.
